Mahatma Gandhi Memorial – Pune
Also known as the Aga Khan's Palace, which it was until he donated it to the nation. Gandhi and his wife died here, and his closest followers were interned by the British during WWII, after he called in 1942 for the British to "Quit India". The lower rooms have been turned into a museum, with depictions of Gandhi's struggle and mementoes of his time here, in a rather dilapidated state.
